Workforce Training Fund (WTF)
Provides MA businesses and labor organizations funds for training initiatives and upgrading skills. Comprised of the General Program, The Express Program and the Hiring Incentive Training Grant (HITG).

Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC)
Designed to help move people from welfare to gainful employment. One-time tax credits are available for employers who hire new employees from any of 10 categories.

Worksharing
Allows companies to keep skilled employees by sharing jobs - cutting hours back instead of laying them off. Employees receive a percentage of their regular wages working 16-36 hours/week while receiving unemployment benefits and possibly earning up to $180 from another employer.
