| The Senior Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, documenting and |
| supporting new and existing applications. The Senior Programmer will identify issues and make |
| modifications to current systems and software according to departmental standards. The successful |
| candidate will provide support and customization for a variety of Yankee Candle Company |
| applications. This position will also be responsible for aiding the DBA in creating valid test data for |
| new and existing applications. Lastly, the position will respond to help desk tickets or inquiries |
| regarding application malfunctions in a timely and thorough manner and take part in multiple projects, |
| among other responsibilities as assigned. |
| Scope: |
| The Senior Programmer will build or modify applications based on the design specifications provided |
| by the Analyst or assist business partners with troubleshooting issues with existing applications. The |
| successful candidate must document all findings, modifications and application relevant data. This |
| position is responsible for an on call rotation for support of applications. |
| Minimum Requirements: |
| " Bachelor's degree (preferably Management Information Systems or Computer Science) or |
| equivalent experience required. |
| " 2+ years experience of Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic.NET, and Biz Talk required. Java experience a |
| plus. |
