Youth Works Summer Job opportunities!

Important Notice

It is with mixed emotions that I would like to inform you that the lottery for the summer employment Youth Works took place Monday, June 25, 2012.

From over 1300 applicants, 60 youth were selected to work this summer by our own honorable mayor. The amount of youth that applied was more than the financial resources can support.

We have many parents and community organizations calling to find out if their youth were selected.

If they did not receive a call they did not get selected from the lottery to receive a summer job spot from the Youth Works funds.

Again we want to thank you in advance for your support, understanding and helping us explain the process to the youth. Please continue to encourage youth to come thru the center and we will assist them in getting jobs by private direct employment.
